- Explain the role & Prosthetists & Orthotists in Rehabilitation: Most members of the rehabilitation team in Nigeria and the general public at large do not understand the role of P&O professionals in medical rehabilitation. There is often a clash of role and setting clear objections and roles will help to make others understand the importance of P&O.
- Emphasize on the consequences of not having a P&O professional in the rehabilitation team: Another way to let people know the importance of P&O is by letting them know the consequences that could arise in the absence of a P&O professional. Outlining the importance of the P&O profession is imperative. it will help others understand the impact of P&O. - Use pamphlet: An effective way to promote your message and educate people on the importance of P&O is by handing out pamphlets.
