HOW TO PREVENT SIMPLE CIRCULATORY ISSUES

A woman awoke in the middle of the night with the sensation that she did not have a right arm. The whole arm had gone ‘dead’. With her left arm, she tried to find her right arm, starting down at the right side of the body, and finally found it extended overhead. She put the arm down and rubbed it briskly, and the arm was back to normal in a minute or two.

With the arm overhead and the entire arm affected, there may have been both compression and tension on the trunks of the brachial plexus and on the blood vessels from the angulation under the coracoid process and the pectoralis major. Considering the quick response from stimulating the circulation by massaging the affected arm, the problem may have been primarily circulatory.

A circulatory problem is any problem that affects the circulatory system. It can arise from the problems from the heart, blood vessels or the blood itself.

You can prevent simple circulatory issues by:

  • Maintaining a healthy weight
  • Quitting smoking
  • Exercising at least 30 minutes every day
  • Eating more fruits and vegetables
  • Avoiding saturated fats found in processed foods and fast food
  • Limiting intake of alcohol
  • Avoiding stress

I really hope this tips will be of much benefit to you.
